A clinical study released by the
Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine, September 2007 issue explored the effects of the medication Uighur gu-jing-mai-si-ha tablet ( GJMSHT ). Song GH conducted a study giving patients suffering from premature ejaculation ( PE ) the tablet and observing the effects by a questionnaire given to patients.
The latency time (the time between vaginal penetration and ejaculation) was calculated as well as patient’s blood levels of nitric oxide and prostaglandin F2alpha.
Patient`s results were compared to a control group.
Patients who took Uighur gu-jing-mai-si-ha had significant increases in their blood levels of nitric oxide and prostaglandin F2alpha.
The group who took the pill also showed significant increases in latency time.
In the control group all study messures did not show any significant change.
In conclusion Uighur gu-jing-mai-si-ha was effective for the treatment of premature ejaculation ( PE ).
