In the 33rd volume of the
Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy published in March-April 2007, therapists T Barnes and I Eardley discuss the scope of premature ejaculation ( PE ). They too agree that premature ejaculation ( PE ) is the most common male sexual dysfunction. The lack of a single definition that has been tested through research hampers treatment of the condition.
Barnes and Eardley recommend that men who suffer from premature ejaculation ( PE ) be treated with a combination of both cognitive behavioral therapy and pharmacological intervention. The drug of choice in Barnes’ and Eardley’s opinion would be one that has been research tested and has easy-to-follow dosing instructions.
