Dapoxetine ( Priligy TM ) was submitted for approval in several countries in Europe last year and is expected to be approved very soon. This approval will be a major milestone in the treatment of Premature Ejaculation ( PE ). Dapoxetine ( Priligy TM ) is the first drug to be approved for this condition and will change the lives of millions of people suffering from PE. Dapoxetine (Priligy TM ) was rejected by the US FDA in 2006. It will be interesting to see how the US FDA will deal with the availability of such a breakthrough drug in several European countries. It is expected that illegal importation of the drug into the US will be common until, and if, the drug will be approved in the US as patients suffering from premature ejaculation ( PE ) would do everything possible to be treated with a legitimate drug that was properly tested and was approved by legitimate health authorities.
