Recent studies demonstrated that men who are circumcised experience less penile sensitivity and could, therefore, have less incidence of premature ejaculation ( PE ). Other studies, however, dispute those findings. Canadian researchers recently reported in the Journal of Sexual Medicine that men who are circumcised display the same sensitivity to fine filament movement as men who are not circumcised.
By contrast,
Michigan researchers published in BJU International noted just the opposite. Robert Van Howe and his team noted that men who are circumcised are less sensitive to fine filament movements than men who are not circumcised. For men with premature ejaculation ( PE ), the studies seem to offer no clear resolution to whether or not circumcision could ultimately help their situation. More studies that replicate either finding are needed to provide insight into the phenomenon and the relationship with premature ejaculation ( PE ).
