Ejaculatory reflex and its connection to premature ejaculation

Ejaculatory reflex begins in the urethra of the penis and consists of many involuntary contractions which push the sperm out of the seminal vesicle and out of the penis.   This reflex is controlled by the PC muscle.    There are many different companies which are trying to promote exercises which strengthen this muscle which intern is supposed to cure patient’s premature ejaculation problems.   There has been no recent published clinical evidence that these exercises can effectively cure premature ejaculation.    There are other options for patients which have been proven in clinical trials to effectively increase control over ejaculatory reflex.   SSRI medications like Dapoxetine ( Prilogy™ ), is one of them.
