Increasing Scientific Interest in Premature Ejaculation ( PE )

Updated Apr 20, 2007 at 4:4 EST.

In the 21st volume of Newsbulletin, a publication of the International Society for Sexual Medicine ( ISSM ) published in December 2006, researchers are encountering a larger body of research in the field of premature ejaculation ( PE ). At the 12th World Congress of ISSM, Dr. Rowland was able to document more published research reports about premature ejaculation ( PE ). For example, in the 1980s, the number or reports published on the topic was only 5 or 6 per year. Currently, more than 40 articles appear on the topic each year as more individuals study the condition.

Still, Rowland notes, not enough attention is given to the psycho-behavioral aspects of premature ejaculation ( PE ) . He feels that much more research in this portion of the field in order to better understand premature ejaculation ( PE ), how it can be treated, and how men may react to specific circumstances.
