The Durex Global Sexual Wellbeing 2006-07 Survey’s results are in: Indian men often finish sexual encounters faster than men worldwide, an average of 13 minutes including foreplay. The worldwide average is 18 minutes. These men also have a higher rate of premature ejaculation ( PE ) than do men from other cultures.
Sexual satisfaction rates, however, are fairly high in
India with 61% indicating that they are “fully satisfied” with their sex lives. In addition, the study demonstrates that men average 130 sexual encounters per year vs. 103 encounters for other cultures. Sexologist Prakash Kothari notes, “Early climax (premature ejaculation) is a more common disorder than erectile dysfunction (impotence) in Indian men.”
