Intracavernous vasoactive drug injection is not a good choice to treat PE

Updated Dec 20, 2007 at 2:55 EST.

There are many different methods doctors are exploring at the moment to treat premature ejaculation.   Some obviously have proven more effective than others.   Marcel D. Waldinger explores the different types  of  treatments in his recent article in the November 2007 issue of the Urologic Clinics of North America.

Intracavernous vasoactive drug injection s are another strategy to treat premature ejaculation, but they are not supported by many establishments.   This method requires an injection of Intracavernous vasoactive drugs into the sponge-like regions of erectile tissue which contain most of the blood in the penis during an erection.   Waldinger writes that there have been no well controlled tests of this treatment and he doesn`t suggest usage.
