Kegel exercises aren’t just for women, a Japanese physician notes. In fact, Dr. Kunio Kitamura tells his patients with premature ejaculation ( PE ) that Kegel exercises, performed properly can help with premature ejaculation ( PE ). Kegel exercises work basically the same in men as they do in women and strengthen pelvic floor muscles at the same time.
Dr Kitamura notes that men should concentrate on squeezing the anus for a count of eight before releasing slowly by the same count of eight. The muscles in the lower abdomen should not move at the same time, only those concentrated near the anus. Exercising the erect penis by moving it up and down under a handkerchief 50-100 times each morning can also help. After mastering this move, Dr. Kitamura recommends wetting the handkerchief to apply slightly more pressure. Any more than about 50-100 times per day could lead to over-exertion and rupturing of the spongy body – an incidence that occurs too frequently. Rest and exercise, Dr. Kitamura notes, is one of the best ways to strengthen the penis, thereby providing relief for men with premature ejaculation ( PE ).
