In the February 2007 issue of the Journal of Urology, Dr Judd W. Moul report that men who are obese are more likely to be screened for prostate cancer. Prostate cancer, in a few cases, can be an underlying cause of premature ( PE ) or rapid ejaculation. Researchers studied health information from 57,827 men who were at least age 40.
Obesity is associated with more advanced disease and worse outcomes in men with prostate cancer, Moul and colleagues from
Duke
University
Medical
Center,
Durham,
North Carolina, reported. To our knowledge the relationship between obesity and prostate cancer screening behavior in men 40 or older is unknown.
