Men who suffer with premature ejaculation (PE) are, for the most part, unwilling to discuss their condition because of the stigma attached to it, says leading researcher, Jon L. Pryor, MD. Men are upset when their sexual performance is unable to meet their needs and the needs of their partner.
Pryor also notes that men feel that they are unique in their condition, yet research indicates that as many as 30 percent of men are affected by premature ejaculation (PE). Lastly, men who ejaculate too quickly are also unlikely to ask for help if they feel that treatment options are limited. Until recent years this may have been the situation, however, more options are available now than ever before.
