A recent review was just published in the September 2007 issue of The Journal of Men`s Health and Gender focusing on the main reasons why male patients go to the doctor. The findings are extremely interesting. Many men are going because of sexual dysfunction problems such as premature ejaculation. The article written by S.H Teoh reviews the history of a men`s health Clinic in
Singapore.
Sexual problems were the main diagnoses among the patients who visited the clinic over 2 years.
About 78% of the patients who visited were diagnosed with sexually related issues.
About 33% of the patients were suffering from erectile dysfunction ( ED ), about 19% were diagnosed with sexually transmitted diseases and about 20% were suffering from premature ejaculation ( PE ).
