There is no universally accepted definition of premature ejaculation

Updated Dec 23, 2007 at 3:42 EST.

Gurkan L wrote an intresting article recently on premature ejaculation in the Jan 2008 publication of the Asian Journal of Andrology.   The article was published by the Section of Andrology, Department of Urology, Tulane University Health Sciences.   The article focuses on the strange phenomenon surrounding the disease. Even though premature ejaculation ( PE ) is recognized as one of the most common male sexual disorders there are some huge question marks relating to it.

There is no universally excepted definition of it and no medication which is approved to treat it by the Food and Drug administration.   There is some medication which is on its way to approval such as Dapoxetine ( Prilogy ™ ).   This drug has been developed and marketed by Johnson and Johnson has proven to be effective to treat premature ejaculation in many clinical trials.
